Jesse Redding, a senior at Colfax High in California, placed seventh in the Division 4 girls final by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 17:50.3 at Woodward Park in Fresno at the CIF State Cross Country Championships. Redding also earned seventh place last season, clocking 17:58.3, and she contributed to a ninth-place performance this year for Colfax with 239 points.
